ARCHThe Atlantic Riding Center for Health (ARCH)

The Atlantic Riding Center for Health (ARCH) was founded in 1988. With nationally certified instructors and the use of the horse, children can improve concentration, attention, posture, mobility, self-esteem and self-confidence. The state of the art facility was designed to meet the needs of all riders. We would love to have your children join us for summer camps. Come and join the fun! Learn about all about horses – stall management, grooming and leading horses, feeding and riding at the appropriate level.

There will also be arts, crafts and games. Camp dates start June 27 and run weekly through August, 9am to 3pm. Camps will be limited to 10 children allowing up close and personal attention to each camper.

Camp Amity AcresCamp Amity Acres

Don’t stay inside all summer – embrace the outdoors at Amity Acres Day Camp, operated by Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore. Located on a scenic, rustic lake surrounded by nature in the Brookville section of Waretown, NJ, Amity Acres Day Camp is the summer destination for girls ages four through fifteen.

Imagine swimming, hiking, climbing a rock wall, riding a zip line and learning how to use a bow and arrow. These are just some of the fun activities available every week.

“Amity Acres Day Camp provided a wonderful experience for my daughter,” said the mother of an eight-year-old camper. “Every day she was so proud of herself for trying something new. We can’t wait until camp this summer!”

The camp program strengthens campers’ self-confidence, social development, life skills and abilities in a fun, exciting environment.  Campers make life-long friendships in a nurturing atmosphere overseen by an energetic, well-trained staff.

Amity Acres Day Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association, complying with its stringent guidelines. We also adhere to the standards set forth by the New Jersey Youth Camp Act.

Camp SacajaweaCamp Sacajawea

Looking for a fun and active place for your daughter to spend the summer? Check out Sacajawea Day Camp, located on more than 154 wooded acres in Farmingdale, NJ. Operated by the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore, Sacajawea Day Camp provides girl-led and girl-focused activities, rooted in Girl Scout values and traditions. Its supportive, caring and nurturing counselors help campers build courage, confidence and character by making new friends and trying new activities.

“My daughter is an only child and this was the first year I considered camp. We visited Sacajawea Day Camp and my daughter wanted to go the first time she saw it,” said a camper’s parent. “I visited several other camps and the large campground seemed safe and well-supervised.  There are many activities to choose from, and the staff is polite and upbeat.”

Sacajawea Day Camp provides girls ages four through fifteen the opportunity to connect with nature, participate in fun, educational activities, and make lifelong friends. Girls can swim, learn archery, canoe on the scenic lake, take a ride on the zip line and so much more.

 “My daughters love the camp and the counselors! They have been going for about three years now and still love it and look forward to it,” said another parent.

One week of basic camp costs only $220, with a variety of discounts available. Camp is in session for ten weeks from June 20th through August 26th. Camp SAM and Camp GLAM at Sports & More in Sewell

Camp SAM offers weekly sports clinics designed to teach the skills and fundamentals of popular sports to encourage teamwork and physical fitness for boys & girls ages 5-14. Freehold Y day camp at Camp Topanemus offers quality, affordable day camping. Camp Topanemus offers a 5 -day a week or 3-day per week program which is NEW in 2011. Tall Pines Day Camp is the premier day camp serving Center City/South Jersey/Shore Points. State certified and accredited by the American Camping Association we offer full day programs for 3-14 year olds and half-day programs for 3-4 year olds.
